Gatehouse Security Officer

About the Opportunity

To carry out Gatehouse Security duties at a client site in accordance with Certis Security Australia standard orders and site instructions, in compliance with all relevant State and/or Federal legislation.

Availability to work on rotating rosters (24/7 Availability). Our sites are based in Tullamarine, VIC.

Will be hired on Full Time and Casual basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting and directing of the drivers, employees and contractors
• Confirming eligibility of persons entering site buildings as per client protocols   Following the direction of the client and foster a working relationship to ensure positive outcomes
• The successful candidate must have the ability to read situations and act accordingly and have a willingness to help / intervene where necessary
• Team environment
• Recording data of vehicle movements   Conduct regular audits
• Paperwork verification   Fast pace environment   Site patrols
• Traffic management
• CCTV and Access Controls Functions
• Attending to emails and phones calls as received   Site Safety
• Shift timings: Rotating 24/7 12-hour roster
• Free Secure Parking on site

About You

• Current VIC Security Licence   Valid First Aid Certificate
• Valid Driver's Licence and access to own Vehicle
• Cert 2 In Security Operations
• Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Previous experience as a Gatehouse Security Officer (highly regarded)
• All applicants must be Fully Vaccinated (COVID Vaccination)
