About the Opportunity

Certis Security Australia is currently seeking full-time security officers to provide security services with a government client. We have multiple positions on offer across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Logan, North Brisbane and Redlands area's, this could be a great opportunity to work close to home. Providing static security across Monday-Friday daytime hours, you will need impeccable presentation, great customer service skills and the ability to manage challenging customers. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Works from instructions and procedures under general supervision, which may not necessarily be at the site where the officer is posted.
  • Assists in the provision of on-the-job training.
  • Exercises good interpersonal communications skills.
  • Ability to manage challenging customers
  • Responsible for assuring the quality of their own work; and is required to act as first response to security incidents or matters.

 

 

Qualification

Mandatory

  • Current and applicable Security license with crowd control function  
  • Current First aid Certificate with CPR refreshed in the past 12 months
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent resident or Visa holder with full working rights
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday 8 hour shifts
  • Ability to meet PEP Clearance requirements
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment medical

 

Experience

  • Experience in a similar role preferred.
