This role sits with the NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) Certis Security Team who is a state government agency that is responsible to provide a pathway to housing. They support the largest portfolio of social housing and it is their responsibility to actively grow it. 

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will be guarding one of the LAHC sites to provide protection to the tenants and other users of the social housing facility. This will be done by proactively identifying any threats and managing them accordingly. You will also be:

• Performing patrols of both the interior and exterior of the building.
• Investigate and report incidents
• Supervise and escort contractors and vendors.
• Assist with ad hoc concierge duties.
• Monitor CCTV systems.
• Other Ad Hoc Duties.
   

Experience

• Ability to work a 6am-2pm roster
• Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience in Corrective Services, Hospitals or similar.
• Current Security Licence (1AC)
• Must reside in Australia
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Certificate II in Security Operations
• Ability to Effectively communicate with other stakeholders.
• IT literacy skills.
• Ability to write cohesive reports.
