We are seeking suitable candidates to perform duties as Aviation Screening Officers. Duties include:
- Customer Service
- Bag Loading
- X-Ray Monitoring
- Conducting frisk searches
- Physical Bag Searches
- Walk-thru metal detector monitoring.
- Explosive Trace Detection (ETD)
Key Responsibilities
No experience required; however.
CUSTOMER SERVICE experience is a MUST!
Certis will cover the cost of your training, including a Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (AVI20118) and 40 hours On-the-Job Training. The Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (TSP) is a nationally recognized qualification and is a requirement for all Aviation Screening Officers and is completely FREE with our Registered Training Organization (RTO 45583).
Note that to progress into a permanent position you are required to successfully complete the Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (TSP) and, at the end of your On-the-Job Training, be deemed capable of making independent screening decisions.

About You
- Exceptional customer service & communication skills
- Impeccable personal presentation & professional conduct
- Valid NSW Drivers Licence and Vehicle (to attend early morning shifts)
- Security licence (1AC) preferred but not mandatory.
24/7 Availability to work a Rotating Shift Roster
Valid National Police Check (Mandatory)
